Event Details
Kay went to Epsom Art College when she left school and while there studied Fashion Design. However, as much as she loved the course, she wished she had studied Fine Art.
It wasn’t until 12 years or so ago, Kay returned to drawing and painting and was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time to be asked to illustrate her first book. The Little Rainbow Coloured Bird
This year she successfully finished a Masters in Illustration at Falmouth University.
Kay loves painting birds, animals, flowers, and of course fairies, unicorns and dragons, generally all in watercolour, which is her favourite medium.
Kay also loves learning interesting facts and is working on a book called I am Pink! It is all about amazing pink wildlife from around the world. It is for children, but also for parents and anyone who loves little snippets of fascinating information.
Kay’s exhibition runs from 22nd October – 6th January 2024 and can be contacted
