Privacy Policy

What data do we collect and how is that data used?
  • the Trust will retain all necessary supplier and invoiced customer data for accounting and auditing purposes in line with regulatory and other directions
  • the Trust will maintain a list of e-mail addresses of individuals who specifically request to be included in the centre’s mailing lists. The list will be held by an external contractor ( MailChimp whose Privacy Policy is here) and will be capable of on-line subscription and unsubscription. Where individuals request subscription in writing, the Trust will destroy the request once the on-line record is made. The Trust will record only the e-mail address and, where given, categories of the Trust’s activities the subscriber is interested in.
  • Where subscribers wish to volunteer to operate the centre, the Trust will with their permission record names and if provided telephone numbers to aid the operation of the centre. Two copies of such data will be held, one secure on site and the secure with the volunteer co-ordinator.
  • In exceptional circumstances where potential subscribers do not have personal access to computer facilities, the Trust will, on request, retain suitable data to enable information to be posted to such subscribers. Such data will be held securely by a nominated volunteer, and as core copy will be held on site.
Do we share your data?
The Trust will not sell or otherwise share with organisations and individuals outside the Trust any data held under these policies.
Your right to be forgotten
The Trust will not archive or otherwise retain data when the subscriber has requested deletion. The Trust will contact all active subscribers periodically ( currently every two years ) to confirm their interest remains active.
What are cookies and how are they used?
The website uses Google Analytics which places a small file called a ‘cookie’ on your computer’s hard drive for record keeping purposes. This is to monitor customer browsing habits and site usage to help us to develop the design and layout of the site. The use of cookies does not allow us to retrieve contact information or personal data that could identify individuals. You may modify your browser’s settings if you do not wish to accept cookies.
How to keep your personal information up to date
If you believe any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please call or email us as soon as possible so we can correct it.
