Combining stunning musicianship and brilliant 4-part harmonies, Crows are true giants of the folk tradition. Mick Ryan (vocals) is joined by Pete Harris (vocals, guitar, bouzouki) who worked in an acclaimed duo with Mick for many years, adding a unique blend of power, warmth and harmony to the band’s vocal mix. Dave Bordewey adds his astonishing high harmony lines and plays fiddle and mando-cello. The inimitable Paul Downes contributes guitar, banjo, mando-cello and harmonies. All four are well known and highly respected performers in their own right. Together they are superb!

Folk@thecornerHOUSE is a monthly series of concerts showcasing the best in folk music. The aim is to present a wide variety of performers in the wonderful intimate setting of The Corner House. Each evening will have a main guest with a supporting act to start. There are too few venues in Surrey providing outlets for the dazzling wealth of talent available on the folk scene and this venture will hopefully go a long way towards filling that void.
