David Bowie ( 1947-2016) was one of the most visionary musicians and creative artists of the 20th century. Adrian Wootton OBE, CEO British Film Commision & Film London gives us a fascinating insight into Bowie’s screen career, featuring some rarely seen footage.

Adrian has been a huge admirer of David Bowie, his music, ideas and influence his whole life. But as a film professional, historian and critic he also became fascinated by the lesser known history of the importance of film and television in Bowie’s career as a movie fan , actor and soundtrack composer.

This talk reflects that history going behind the scenes of all of David Bowie’s on screen adventures and rich with anecdotes the talk is also lavishly illustrated with clips and slides.
