Former Ham House guide Genevieve Marenghi sold a boxful of books after being interviewed in plush new chairs on the half-height mini stage at the cornerHOUSE by Good Life editor Tim Harrison.
Genevieve was on sparkling form, reading the prologue to her debut novel No Oil Painting, then describing the writing process, the battle to be published and the fallout, including a stern refusal by the National Trust to stock the book in any of its shops as the plot revolves around the planning to steal a painting! She happily fielded questions from the audience.
