Building on our successful cornerHOUSE “Write it…then write it better” workshops in October 2021, we formed a playwrights group to help each other improve our writing for the stage.

Regular participation is encouraged and members are invited to offer a draft scene/script/part script (5-10 pages) for table-reading and discussion. We meet every six weeks and usually have time to work on 2-3 such pieces per session.

A reminder is sent to members several days before each meeting, and if you don’t have a draft ready to share, your attendance is just as important to contribute to discussion and provide constructive feedback. 

 

Attendance at every session isn’t essential, but numbers are limited to 12 per meeting, so sign up via Ticket Source to secure a place. You’ll then be sent further details and a contact in case you have any questions.
