The cornerHOUSE is a community venue. We rely on a team of enthusiastic volunteers to keep the cornerHOUSE running and enable art, drama, music and dance to thrive.
The cornerHOUSE is run entirely by volunteers who staff the bar, do front of house and box office when there are events. The availability of volunteering opportunities is dependent on the requirements and number of various events each month. There is written guidance for these roles and new volunteers are teamed up with experienced volunteers. There are also opportunities to help with sound, lighting and projection, productions, admin, publicity and maintenance.

Support and guidance is provided for newcomers to volunteering at the cornerHOUSE. It is a good opportunity to meet with like minded people, is a friendly and worthwhile activity. Where needed, we are happy to provide contributions to CVs etc. to document the scale of experience that the volunteer has had with us.
