The cornerHOUSE panto has been a regular annual event, staged every January since the arts centre first opened (with the one exception of Covid lockdown).
We have covered just about every traditional panto story plus a range of other topics from sci-fi, to westerns, to whodunnits. The scripts and songs are original and the cast, both young and not so young, are talented amateurs drawn from across the local area. It remains our biggest community-wide production.
2025 spectacular 'Treasure Island and the Search for the Black Hole' panto
Last year, visitors shivered their timbers and spliced the mainbrace at the cornerHOUSE's 2025 purely piratical panto. The motley crew set sail for Treasure Island to discover the whereabouts of The Black Hole.
