A Midsummer Nights Theme

This year’s cornerHouse panto will be A Midsummer Night’s Theme. 

Yes, our traditional New Year production has finally gone from Bard to verse! 

With many apologies to William Shakespeare, plus Felix Mendelssohn and a few other creatives whose work is being shamelessly ‘re-imagined’, well, plagiarised, the show will recount the tale of mismatched lovers cast adrift in an enchanted forest. 

There will be fairies, of course, and one unfortunate chap who gets transformed into an ass. 

But all’s well that ends well – sorry wrong play – and the panto will be staged from January 27 to 31st.
