Tom is nominated for the Young Persons Award

Congratulations to Tom who was nominated for the Young Volunteer Award at the Celebrating Communities Awards 2026.

The borough’s voluntary and community organisations joined together at All Saints Church, Kingston, for the 3rd Kingston Celebrating Communities Awards 2026. This event recognises the amazing contribution of volunteers and communities across the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames.

Over 200 guests attended to celebrate the outstanding achievements of individuals, teams and organisations in eight award categories; Unsung Hero, Volunteer Impact, Young Volunteer, Community Team, Lifetime Achievement, Community Innovation, Greener Community and Fairer Community.

Tom said : 'I feel very proud and grateful to be nominated for the Young Persons Award. Whilst I didn't win it was an amazing experience'
