Thank You and Welcome: A Change in Chair of Trustees

During his record-breaking time as chairman, Jeremy has overseen the increasing success of the centre, the renovation and improvement of the hall itself, the stabilisation of the finances, and navigated us through the dangerous waters of Covid.
Jeremy has always been a supporter of community arts; his alarming panto cry of "Curses!" has graced the stage for uncountable numbers of performances of the famous (or is it infamous?!) annual community event. Jeremy remains a trustee and looks forward to the cornerHOUSE continuing as a beacon for community arts.
"Jeremy and all our volunteers have done an amazing job to develop the cornerHOUSE's varied artistic programme, and to maintain and improve the building where it all happens. It is such a valuable community asset and a place I have personally enjoyed spending time in over many years. I'm delighted to play a role now as chair to help the cornerHOUSE continue to flourish: we will challenge ourselves to develop compelling new offerings, reach new audiences, and as always make the setting as welcoming and dynamic as we can." - Hilary, new Chair of Trustess
A huge thank you to Jeremy and welcome to Hilary our new cornerHOUSE Chair of Trustees.
