This year's oneACTs Festival was another huge triumph. Eight new plays were performed by 24 local actors, with subjects ranging from a gulag guard's conscience (or lack of) to mistaken identity in a local pub. These short plays showcased some clever and entertaining writing, as well as some thoughtful direction in plays that challenged our preconceptions of racial stereotyping, charity work, relationships, knitting and worms!
Some casts bonded so well that they want to come back and perform their own plays at the cornerHOUSE. Thanks to the over 500 people who came to support friends and family or just to be entertained. Thanks also to the writers who entered 57 plays between them, from which these 8 were selected.
We hope you enjoyed seeing your plays on stage.
