Artist on-line at the cornerHOUSE
Exhibition date: 14th - 27th June 2020
Miranda grew up on the Isle of Wight and her love of drawing and painting was encouraged from an early age by her mother, a commercial artist and calligrapher, and her father, an enthusiastic amateur marine architect.
A career in Whitehall, followed by bringing up a family, intervened but she then returned to her creative and artistic roots, by beginning a series of books for small children as a start to her writing career, producing an extensive series of book covers for local music publishers and working as a scarecrow artist.
Miranda now enjoys experimenting with different media, exhibiting her work and having her paintings reproduced in the form of greeting cards. Colour, composition and texture are all important to her and she takes inspiration from very varied sources, but nature and the seashore are recurring ones.

Miranda is an active member of Oxshott and Molesey Art Societies and also paints and exhibits with MiMA, a mixed media artists’ group in Reigate
Miranda will be exhibiting at the cH in due course and can be currently contacted on:
