HANLIM PARK - FOUND - 'Transforming the Everyday'
Hanlim Park is a local Kingston based artist with an Anglo European Korean background. She graduated from University of East London in 2008. She has since been working in London and France running her design business.
Born in South Korea, and growing up in Germany has given her a unique perspective on life.
Hanlim creates amazingly dynamic paintings. Originally a sculptor, Hanlim has progressed into new unexpected contexts, infusing them with colour and textures, incorporating found recycled materials,
Her larger pieces consist of feathers, shells, stones, yarns.
Her smaller pieces are created with an acrylic base paint that consist of stickers, glitter, diamantes, and beads to create a vibrant design.
