On October 24th 2025 the cornerHOUSE held a special event to celebrate it's 30th anniversary.

Guests were treated to a special exhibition displaying a history of the events over the past 30 years.
A group photo, which will be added to the time capsule, was taken.
The evenings events included:
Comparing by Nicky Newbury
An address from Jeremy Thorn
Tim Harrison sharing the fascinating history of the cornerHOUSE
Touching tributes lead by Caroline Brooker
Stand up by Tim Vine, the cornerHOUSE Patron
Dancing by Kumar and Sarah from Surbiton Swing
A costume parade run by Emma Burton and Denise Rocard
Music by Ian Lee-Dolphin and Steve Harman
A word from Jeremy Thorn, the cornerHOUSE chair of Trustees.
I have chaired the cornerHOUSE Trustees since January 2011.
In that period we have developed in:
The diversity of our audiences
Our performers and visitors
Our ability to build up the reserves needed to maintain and improve the building and its infrastructure
Our relationship with our community.
We survived the crisis of COVID, when our income disappeared but costs kept going. Virtually all of this have been due to the efforts of our heroic volunteers - the jewels in our crown.
~ Jeremy Thorn
The event was certainly a night to remember and it would not have been possible without the hardwork of so many cH volunteers and trustees.
A huge thank you to everyone one who made the evening a success.
