Ether and Earth 3 - Carol Baker Exhibition

Carol trained as a 3D Designer at Chelsea School of Art, before continuing at CASS for her M.A. in Land Art Imagery; pursuing a 30 year career in Fine Art & Photography, holding exhibitions across the UK and France, including the RCA London, and Salon des Independants, in Paris.

She comments: ‘From initial sketches, sometimes developed in the studio, more often en plein air, a narrative emerges and finesses, whereby my art effectively paints itself, ethereally morphing like Earth itself. I explore landscape forms, through experience, colour, pattern and texture, that dissolve into abstraction’ 

Ether and Earth 3 demonstrates these skills and her breadth of artistic interest, her love of and insight into the wisdom of nature and the landscape environment, and their kaleidoscopically changing opportunities for interpretation and discovery.

Carol is also a facilitator & consultant of Wellbeing Arts, an organisation running wellbeing workshops for children and adults of all ages. Carol and her students continue to explore the environment and discover the wonder of imagination and creativity.

The exhibition runs from 23 April to 18 June. Meet the Artists night is 10 May
