Healing through music
The Soot Bunker, devised by talented duo Rob Augustus and Elizabeth Blake, features an old derelict cinema and central character Felicia Der Anker, who has made it her home.
In the bunker she invites strangers to share their deepest emotional burdens, believing she can heal human sorrow through the power of art.
In return for their confessions, a live band performs an original, personalised song meant to lift their despair and reset their lives.
The show, by Herder Mill Productions, blends traditional dialogue, projections, and original music and lyrics by Augustus and Rebecca Kent.
