Poets at the cornerHOUSE: Reflections Exhibition

Drop in and view the poems between 10:30 and 11:30 on Wednesdays.

Way back in 2016, we started a small poetry group at the cornerHOUSE and have continued to expand ever since. We come together four times a year for our readings and enjoy a cheese buffet during the evening too.

After each reading, we choose three themes for the next reading, these are then explored in our optional creative workshops.

Over the years, we have exhibited our work various times, produced an anthology of our poems, eaten huge amounts of cheese, said many words on numerous subjects and very importantly, had much fun.

Our evenings are introduced by Tim Harrison, editor of the Good Life and we’re often played out with a couple of acoustic numbers by poet and musician Ian Lee-Dolphin Roger McGough, Stewart Henderson and LiTTle MAChiNe have all visited our stage. Coming in 2027 we have a presentation from Poems on the Underground.

The Reflections Exhibition runs from 16th October – 8th November 2026
