About
Every two years, the cornerHOUSE brings together a selection of exciting, innovative oneACT new plays to be performed on the cornerHOUSE stage across an incredible week!
Worms, a knitting challenge, the gulag, fitting in, an affair, an auction, misunderstandings and identity, are the subjects of this year's cornerHOUSE oneACTS festival, a celebration of original playwriting.
Expect drama, comedy, mystery and mayhem, as local actors, directors, and playwrights bring eight new plays to the arts centre in Douglas Road.
The festival, now in its 16th year, will see four plays performed on alternate nights from Monday, May 18 to Saturday, May 23 at 7.45pm.
Tickets are £12 (£10 concs).
If you are wanting to see a particular play, please make sure you book for the correct night as the programme alternates.
