TALK TO SURBITON & DISTRICT HISTORICAL SOCIETY, 1 SEPTEMBER 2026


The talk explores the history of the Seething Wells area of Surbiton [KT6 5NP & KT6 5PJ]. It locates the well or spring from which its name derives and explores old reports that its waters were warm in the winter while being cold in the summer, that they were medicinal and that a spa once existed in the area.


The talk is presented by the Surbiton and District Historical Society. The speaker is David Kennedy.
