History of Games by Sue Rhodes

Ancient Games - the history of games from ancient Mesopotamia and Egypt to current day. Passing the time playing games with friends is one of life's pleasures, but it is surprising to find out just how long ago people started playing games with dice, counters, and boards. This talk tells of the archaeology and history of games, with illustrations of some beautiful game sets, and stories of their origins.
