About

What was the eccentric, reclusive sculptor Dora Gordine really like? Tim Harrison was the first journalist to interview her following a burglary at her Dorich House home and gallery in Kingston Vale in which £100,000 worth of Russian icons and art treasures were stolen. A friendship formed, and for the next three years he called in each week for morning coffee and a chat on his way to work. He shares the story, and his personal memories, of a remarkable artist.
