Surbiton and District Historical Society present Bob Phillip’s Talk “The History of Cleaveland Road ”
the history of a street full of workmen’s cottages, built in the 1850s – part of the early growth of Surbiton. The study grew out of an interesting experiment in a “people’s museum exhibition” and is a prompt for some general thoughts about writing very local history.
Doors open at 7. Talk starts at 7.30
