Mick and Paul are a match made in heaven. Mick has a mighty, characterful voice and dry, ironic humour. Paul adds sensitive and brilliant accompaniment on guitar and witty asides, interjections along with perfect harmonies. Together the shift effortlessly between the hilarious and the deeply moving, with the profound personal insights Mick reveals in his own compositions. A perfect start to our 2023season.

Folk@thecornerHOUSE is a monthly series of concerts showcasing the best in folk music. The aim is to present a wide variety of performers in the wonderful intimate setting of The Corner House. Each evening will have a main guest with a supporting act to start. There are too few venues in Surrey providing outlets for the dazzling wealth of talent available on the folk scene and this venture will hopefully go a long way towards filling that void.
