From a London council estate to a New York City members club and beyond, this jam-packed show is full of enthralling, storytelling performances.

Character Solos, a series of mini plays developed by LAMDA drama teacher James Kemp, stars Sophie Angelson, Mario Demetriou, Nicolette Morrison, Teddy Walker and Jude Monk McGowan (formerly of Hollyoaks fame, pictured).

This Effort Productions project is a collection of solo stories invented, written and performed by the actor who is telling them.

Each ‘solo’ delves into a new character’s life at one very potent moment.

The magic of these pieces is that the actors create everything for the audience – the atmosphere, setting and their imaginary scene partners transporting us to another world.

Character Solos comes to the cornerHOUSE on Saturday, November 14 at 7.45pm ahead of being recorded for The Tristan Bates theatre in London.
