"A presentation hosted by Kingston Friends of the Earth on behalf of the National Emergency Briefing organisation"
Communities across the UK, including Kingston, are hosting screenings of the National Emergency Briefing also known as the People's Emergency Briefing. This is a 50-minute documentary exploring the impacts of climate and nature breakdown on everyday life in the UK. There will be four screenings in Kingston this September including the cornerHOUSE
The film features leading scientists, a former general, and public figures including Chris Packham, Jennifer Saunders, Deborah Meaden and Jon Richardson. It examines how the climate and nature crises affect all aspects of society, including food security, health and national security, while highlighting practical, positive solutions. Each event will conclude with an opportunity for discussion and reflection, so please allow around two hours to attend.
