Annual event at the cornerHOUSE

An annual event for more than a quarter of a century, and still going strong. The 2019 Panto is coming – in 2019!
Following 2018’s Cyn Dorella we bring you Wind-up the Willows.

There’s trouble at t’Hogsmill where the stoats and weasels have won their referendum and decided to chuck the other animals out of the Wild Wood and take over Toad Hall.
So what are Ratty, Mole, Toad and Badger to do, and how does Winnie the Pooh get involved?
All will be revealed in this year’s cornerHOUSE annual panto Wind up the Willows.
The show runs from Tuesday, January 29 to Saturday, February 2 at 7.45pm with a matinee on the Saturday at 4pm at the arts centre in Douglas Road, Surbiton. Tickets are £10, concessions £8.

Pantomime Workshop

Pantomime Workshop

Have you always fancied taking part in a cornerHOUSE Pantomime?
Well now’s your chance!
The Panto Creative Team will be running two Workshop sessions at the cornerHOUSE on Saturday 1st December 2018 at 2pm and Monday 3rd December 2018 at 7pm from which they will cast the 31st Annual Pantomime.
The sessions, run by Jonathan Constant and Tanju Duncan will be relaxed in nature and require no preparation or audition pieces – just turn up to one of these workshops.
To be considered for a role, you must be available on the 12th December 2018 for the first read through, and from the 28th December 2018 through until end of January for rehearsals. The rehearsal period is quite short, so be prepared for a fairly full schedule.
No previous experience necessary, we will be casting for all parts; main characters and supporting roles and all you have to do to be considered is show up to one of the sessions. This is for adult cast only.
We look forward to seeing you!
