passion.dale

Thu 6 - Sat 8 Nov 2008

passion.dale; the past is always present. A brand new play by Enzyme Theatre based on the true story of a family finding of a faded note unread since 1918, which finally explains their history and the mystery of an ancestor deleted from family records. Wriiten for Remembrance Day weekend in the 100th Anniversary year of their building.

A WW1 story without uniforms or trenches, this is a powerful and moving modern account of those left behind, then and now, and the tragedy of lost communication between generations of a single family.

Cast: Connie Baumann, Chris Baxter, Sue Brown, Jon Constant, Phil Cooper, James Goldwater, Tina Graham, Celia Harding, Annmarie Hassett, Flora Lawson, David McKenzie, Scott Matheson, Andy Moseley, Simon Tyler

Bar open from 7pm. Play starts 8pm prompt, latecomers may not be admitted.

Enzyme is a not for profit company founded in 1987, and has been performing here since 1995. Their previous productions here were Cover Story and Captive Audience.
