Audiences at the cornerHOUSE can enjoy a musical journey through the past 100 years in September, in a show organised to celebrate the building’s centenary.
Musical director Keesha McLean has chosen a memorable selection of songs from some of the greatest musicals ever written. Directed by Jon Constant, A Century of Musicals begins in the early 1900s in the vaudeville era, and travels through the decades.
A versatile cast featuring some cornerHOUSE regulars and several new faces, will perform numbers from Kiss Me, Kate, Oh What a Lovely War, Crazy for You, Anything Goes, Oklahoma, South Pacific, My Fair Lady, Guys and Dolls, Oliver, Camelot, Mary Poppins, Rent, Avenue Q… and many others! |
