A rag-tag bunch of alley cats. led by the rough and ready Thomas O’Malley, come to the rescue of an elegant cat-napped duchess and her three adorable kittens, in an adaptation of Disney’s classic animation The Aristocats at the cornerHOUSE in August.

The performances of Disney’s the Aristocats Kids on Friday, August 21 and Saturday, August 22, at 7.30pm, will be the culmination a week-long performance course at the arts centre in Douglas Road, Tolworth.

The course, run by the Hinchley Manor Operatic Society, is aimed at six to 19-year-olds. The society’s previous courses have featured other popular children’s productions including Snoopy, Honk, and Just So!

Course leader Kelly Neilson, said: “The aim of the week is having lots of fun while getting the best out of the children. We will cover acting, singing and dancing – all needed for the performance at the end of the week. All children are welcome, preferably with some background in theatre.”

Disney’s the Aristocats Kids which runs from Monday, August 17 to Saturday, August 22 between 10am to 4pm, costs £120.
