Meet the Ruggles

A classic children’s novel, The Family From One End Street, is brought to life at the cornerHOUSE in July.
Eve Garnett’s story about the adventures of the Ruggles, a working class family living in the 1930s, has been adapted for the stage by actor, writer and drama coach David Lawson Lean.

Lawson Lean, director of Kingston Junior Drama Company which is performing the show, said: “The Family From One End Street is an absolute classic which has been loved by generations of children and adults alike.”
The play, which is suitable for all ages, runs at the arts centre in Douglas Road, Tolworth, from Thursday, July 2 to Friday, July 3 at 7.30pm. Tickets £4 (£3 concessions).

Kingston Junior Drama Company is run by the Kingston Music and Arts Service.
