An ‘Austen’-tatious event!  You are invited to join Mrs Kitty Woodcock and Captain John Swayne as they dress for a stroll through Georgian Bath. This lively talk will feature two actors dressed in Jane Austen-era costumes generously donated by the West of England Costume Society. You’ll have a chance to see their fine attire up close while former textile conservator Christine Housden provides interesting and enriching commentary on the fabrics, manufacturing process, and fashion trends of the time aided and abetted by former theatre and TV designer Judith Mead.
