Directed by Dina Yates and written at the very end of Ian Callaway’s 25 years as a senior crown prosecutor in the criminal justice system, the play concentrates on the appearance of three defendants at a magistrates court.

A waiting room sets the first scene where two feckless young men form an unlikely alliance with an older very well spoken, master of the criminal trade.

The journey takes us from a waiting room to a courtroom to a drunken session in a graveyard.

Praised by the Manchester Royal Exchange for its clever writing and skilful humour, you are guaranteed to experience moments that will have you tittering in the aisles. After all, a court simply isn’t a court, unless there is a titter running round it!!

Honour Amongst Thieves shows at the cornerHOUSE arts centre, Douglas Road, Surbiton KT6 7SB on Thursday 11th October, Friday 12th October and Saturday, 13th October. Doors open at 7pm. The show starts at 7.30pm.
